We are an award-winning chapter that has received national, area, and local recognition for our programming in the five service areas of The Links, Incorporated: The Arts, Services to Youth, National Trends and Services, International Trends and Services, and Health and Human Services. Our chapter is comprised of 61 women who are committed to making positive contributions to their community and beyond through friendship and service.
 

As you explore our website, you will learn more about Pontchartrain (LA)’s work in the community and the women who volunteer their time to our organization and its projects.  The Pontchartrain (LA) Chapter is one of The Links, Incorporated’s 299 chapters located in 41 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, and the United Kingdom. The Links, Incorporated, founded in 1946, is an international, not-for-profit corporation, comprised of more than 17,000 women of African descent.
